The prevalence of myopia increased rapidly with age (6 years old 18.3% ► 12 years old 61.5%). High myopia increases the risk of eye diseases such as retinal degeneration, retinal detachment etc. Studies from Australia, China, Singapore, Taiwan, and U.S. reported that outdoor activities can delay the prevalence of myopia or even slow its progression. Therefore, PolyVision and Ocean Park co-organized this Project to encourage more outdoor activities for child’s eye health!
Participants are required to undergo TWO COMPREHENSIVE EYE EXAMINATIONS during January 2018 – April 2019. Proper management and recommendation on myopia progression will be given by Registered Optometrists (part I).
Participants will receive a CHILD GOLD PASS and enjoy unlimited admission to Ocean Park throughout the one-year validity period.
Participants will be invited to join an EYECARE TOUR at Ocean Park (accompanied by ONE parent with free entry to Ocean Park)
All successful participants will receive gold, silver or bronze certificates and have a chance to win Cash HK$500 sponsored by Hang Seng Bank and 2 pieces of PolyVision Comprehensive Eye Examination Gift Voucher.
Fee: HK$1,150 (Included Two Comprehensive Eye Examinations, One Child Gold Pass and One Eyecare Tour)
