Hi, I am teacher & am working with a 10 year old who has difficulty in focusing his mind. For a child of his age this is quite unusual. His mother says: Because his eyes are very tired. And myopic degree is very high. The left eye 275, right eye 450. Astigmatism is especially serious. So, I am wondering if there is anything that Polyvision might be able to test to help with in relation to eye condition & behavioural response when focusing on learning. We are working online. However mum also says: His attention is always not very good. If you think you may be able to help, could you please explain a little & I will recommend to the mother that she bring the child for assessment. Thank you.

本人双眼做了白内障手术，右眼术后一切正常，但左眼眼角术后不停出现闪光，感觉眼球不停跳动，注目看电脑时特别严重，令人很不安及烦燥。术后检查一切正常，视力、眼底、眼压都正常，为什么会有这种情况？手术至今已十七天，很令人担心！

手术时有机会触碰或牵动视网膜，换过人工晶体后也有可能改变视网膜所受拉扯力，引致闪光。如果医生在术后检查过没问题，理论上情况会慢慢改善， 建议再观察1个月。

如果有锥形角膜要点处理

如阁下视力不断下降，普通有框眼镜不足以提升视力的话，便需要配戴特制透气硬镜(隐形眼镜)。部份锥形角膜个案可以针对性的手术治疗或改善，但若情况严重，便可能要角膜移植。

如有怀疑，建议接受「全面眼科视光检查」，由眼科视光师作出诊断及建议。

爸爸(77岁)喜欢拎住6.9”的手机睇YouTube片，距离眼睛大约30cm，如果改用较大萤幕的装置(例如10.2”iPad)，使用距离依然是30cm，请问会对眼睛较好还是更伤眼？谢谢解答！

假设令尊在ipad上是使用全萤幕看youtube，眼睛比使用手机时需要移动更多以观览整个萤幕，理论上会使眼睛更疲劳，若想以ipad观看又想有如使用手机观看时相若的解像度，应放在约45cm观看。
